On March 23rd, at the invitation of the governments and CPC committees of Deyang and Luojiang District, a group from Usunhome visited Baima Pass Scenic Area. It was led by Qiu Wei, Chairman of Usunhome Group and of Usunhome Cultural Tourism, and He Ping, co-founder and Vice Chairman of Usunhome Group and President of Usunhome Cultural Tourism. They were received and accompanied by Liu Huiying (Deputy Secretary of Deyang Municipal CPC Committee and member of the Standing Committee of the aforementioned committee), Zeng Changjiang (Secretary of Luojiang District CPC Committee), Zou Yuanjun (Chief of Luojiang District Government) and other officials. The two parties held a meeting to discuss in detail the development of cultural and tourism industries in Luojiang District, Deyang and the upgrading of Baima Pass Scenic Area.

Sichuan’s major industrial city notwithstanding, Deyang is never short of cultural and tourism resources, such as Luojiang’s history during the Three Kingdoms period, Guanghan’s Sanxingdui culture, and Mianzhu’s liquor culture. In this light, Liu Huiying sincerely hoped that Deyang would work closely with Usunhome Group, a major player in the field of cultural tourism, to tap into its historical and cultural riches and thus facilitate the integration of Deyang’s cultural and tourism industries.

Chairman Qiu Wei spoke highly of the unique advantages of Deyang and its Luojiang District (its rich cultural and tourism resources, for instance) and of the prominence local governments give to cultural and tourism industries. He looks forward to cooperating with the governments of Deyang and Luojiang District. To upgrade Baima Pass Scenic Area, he suggested that both parties should make a concerted effort to find its positioning, tap into its core cultural treasures, make plans first and in a precise way, offer more better products, improve services and supporting facilities, and step up marketing. All this will polish Luojiang—a rough diamond on the Three Kingdoms cultural tourism route—and it will thus sparkle brilliantly.
