Create Distinctive Consumption Settings in a Good Business Environment | Chen Lizhang, Secretary of Jinjiang District CPC Committee, Visited Π Cubic Art Streets on the Lantern Festival

On February 19, the day of the Lantern Festival, festivity and bustle pervaded Chengdu. The banks of the Jin River were brightly lit by the lighting of the project named “Splendid Jin River at Night”. An important part of this project is Π Cubic Art Streets in Dachuan Alley. They became all colorful, decorated, and crowded to celebrate the Chinese New Year with the beauty of art.

At about 8 pm, Chen Lizhang, Secretary of Jinjiang District CPC Committee, and Wang Qian, Deputy Secretary of Jinjiang District CPC Committee & Chief of Jinjiang District Government, visited Π Cubic Art Streets in Dachuan Alley. The streets are managed by Chengdu Zhongjin Cultural Media Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Usunhome Group. The two officials not only did research on the streets’ infrastructure, the overall structure of their business forms and the innovative practices in their operation model, but also visited artists who were working in the studios located in Π Cubic Art Streets. They were accompanied by Qiu Wei, Chairman of Usunhome Group and of Usunhome Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd., and He Ping, co-founder of Usunhome Group and President of Usunhome Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd.

As Chen Lizhang visited the Art Space of Π Cubic Art Streets, Shangshang Space Independent Studio and J-Makers Workshop, he talked with the management team to understand how they operate Π Cubic Art Streets and with the artists and children who were creating their artworks. According to him, Π Cubic Art Streets are meant to create whole new settings for consumption  and provide affordable artworks for the people so that art becomes part of their life.

Afterwards, Chen Lizhang held a meeting on the spot. Speaking highly of Usunhome Group’s achievement, he instructed that efforts should be stepped up to improve the streets’ infrastructure and create more favorable conditions for their operation and management.
