On February 22, a group of senior officials visited Usunhome. It was led by Liu Youhong, Chief of Meishan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV, Film, Press, Publication and Tourism and Secretary of the Bureau’s CPC Leadership Group. They discussed in detail with Usunhome how they can work with and complement each other to produce a Dongpo-themed play in Meishan, the hometown of Dongpo (aka Su Shi, a famous Chinese writer, poet and statesman of the Song dynasty).
Senior management from Usunhome said that as a top-notch company in China’s cultural industries, Usunhome always follows the “combine asset-heavy and asset-light business models and fuse different fields” development strategy. The hometown of Dongpo is rich in culture and has an active cultural life. Usunhome has been doing in-depth research in preparation for the two parties’ cooperation on this heavyweight project in Meishan.
Liu Youhong spoke highly of Usunhome’s great passion for culture and its strategy to get a single project making multiple positive impacts. Apart from Dongpo culture, Meishan has many other cultural and tourism resources. He hoped that with a globalized world, China’s reality and Meishan’s characteristics in mind, the two parties would produce the Dongpo-themed play by working out the right way to cooperate and taking a market-oriented approach so that it would emerge as a whole new symbol of Dongpo culture and trigger the exponential growth of Meishan’s integrating cultural and tourism industries.
